Fachat

Online Social Awareness

Connecting with new people online can be exciting, but it also comes with responsibilities. Understanding the risks and knowing how to protect yourself is the first step toward a positive experience on Fachat and across any social platform.

Online Safety for Women

Research consistently shows that women face disproportionate rates of online harassment. Women between 18 and 24 are especially likely to encounter aggressive or unwanted behavior in digital spaces.

Beyond following our Tips for Safety, we encourage women to be particularly mindful about what personal details they share. Trust your instincts — if someone makes you uncomfortable, block them immediately through your settings.

If you experience targeted harassment, report it to our team right away. Users who violate our guidelines face warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans. Many countries also operate dedicated helplines for women who experience online or offline harassment.

Nudity and Sexting

Flirting is a natural part of social interaction, but sharing intimate images carries real risks. Once a photo or video leaves your device, you lose control over where it ends up. Content can be saved, forwarded, or used for blackmail — even by someone who seemed trustworthy at first.

Pressuring someone to share explicit content is never acceptable, and exposing others to nudity without consent violates both our guidelines and, in many jurisdictions, the law.

To protect yourself and others:

  • Nudity and sexually explicit content are strictly prohibited on Fachat, especially during random matching.
  • Never share intimate images with someone you have not met in person and do not fully trust.
  • Block and report anyone who sends unsolicited explicit content or pressures you to share yours.
  • Fachat uses AI-powered content detection to identify and blur inappropriate material in real time.

Discrimination

Fachat brings together people from all walks of life. We have zero tolerance for discrimination based on race, age, gender identity, disability, marital status, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Members who engage in discriminatory behavior may receive a warning, have their account suspended, or be permanently removed from the platform. If another user discriminates against you, please report them to our team so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Fake Profiles and Scams

Not everyone online is who they claim to be. Some individuals create fake profiles to manipulate others, steal personal information, or run financial scams. This practice, sometimes called catfishing, can lead to emotional distress, identity theft, or worse.

We work actively to verify user identities and remove fraudulent accounts from the platform. If you encounter a profile that seems suspicious — mismatched photos, evasive answers, or requests for money — report it right away.

Harmful and Illegal Content

The internet exposes people to a wide range of content, not all of it legal or safe. Violence, extremism, drug promotion, pornography, and other harmful material have no place on Fachat. Our moderation team removes such content as soon as it comes to our attention, and we refer potentially illegal material to law enforcement when required.

Offensive Language

Words carry weight, even online. Fachat uses automated language filtering that detects and blocks certain inappropriate or sexually suggestive words in real time during chat. Messages containing blacklisted terms are prevented from reaching the other person, especially during the initial matching phase. This helps maintain a respectful atmosphere from the very first interaction.

Self-Esteem and Digital Well-Being

Spending time on social platforms can affect how you see yourself. It is normal to feel a range of emotions when interacting with strangers — excitement, nervousness, even rejection. What matters is recognizing that your value is not determined by the reactions of people you meet online.

If repeated interactions on any platform leave you feeling anxious, inadequate, or distressed, consider taking a break. Healthy digital habits include setting time limits, being selective about who you engage with, and talking to someone you trust about how you feel.
